Spring Time at Building 21
The green grass, the fresh lake, the chirping birds, spring has certainly sprung here at Building 21!
We have been enjoying our lake out back with our kayaks and canoe. And, we have loved being able to run around in the grass with the sun beaming down on us. We believe this place is a place of solitude, and we are thankful our students are finding that here.
Indoors, we have recently added arcade games and have begun re-vamping our space. New designs, new games, and new faces are what we love! We have also been offering new programs from some incredible local businesses such as Ukulele and Book Club from the Capital Area District Library, Clay from Sunset Clay Studio, 3D Sculpting from Good Vibes Art Studio, Improv from Free Shrugs Improv, and MORE!!
We are also excited to announce our summer programs that are sure to make your students summer memorable!

- Power of Water – Kayaking
- Total Firearms – Archery and Fishing
- Sweet Encounter – Cooking
- Lansing Makerspace – Jewelry and Metal Working

We cannot wait for this summer programs! We will also have programs continuing to run throughout the rest of the school year. So don’t wait to sign up!
What else has been happening here at Building 21?
Well, we wrapped up our Comedy for a Cause fundraiser just a couple of weeks ago! We have some incredibly generous supporters that we are beyond thankful for! Without our fundraisers, we cannot exist. We are so thankful for all of your guys’ support in what we do! It is truly a joy and an honor to serve the teenagers and families in our community. Thank you to every sponsor, donor, and person that came out to our annual comedy show. We certainly had a memorable night and laughed a lot, and we hope you did too!
We have also been having our monthly Friday Night Live events! We just did our Egg-stravaganza, and in just a couple of weeks we are having Fiesta Friday! These nights happen on the second Friday of every month from 7-10pm right in our facility! With a different theme each month, these nights are sure to be an incredible way to kick off your weekend.
We are so thankful for everything we get to do, and this has has been such a blast for us! We cannot wait to continue to plan for the future, enjoy the present, and continue to serve the teens and families in the greater Lansing area. Check back here for more updates soon!💙
