Welcome to 2022!

Hello there!

Students, we are incredibly excited to have you back! Two and a half weeks is far too long.

We miss the energy and joy you all bring to Building 21!

We hope that you had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

With that being said, we have some exciting stuff coming up!

 

Here is what you have to look forward to.

• Two Monday’s a month we will have our Teen Advisory Council. This is the mission statement our students came up with: “The Teen Advisory Council values cooperation, empathy, and uniqueness. We strive to make a positive impact in our community by sharing and implementing ideas and by modeling pro-social behavior.”
• On Tuesday’s we will have a Mixed Media Art program! This is a brand new program that will entail various forms of art. Each week will be uniquely different.
• On Thursday’s we will have Culinary Arts. This program involves learning how to prepare various types of food ranging anywhere from teriyaki chicken to strawberry French toast!
• And finally, Friday’s we will have our 3D Printing program. This program has been a hit with our students this year. The past few months the students have learned how to print 3D models on their own.

We are also implementing new + fun activities during each day after school.
